Good and evil
Good and evil, life and death, gods and mortals. The underlying themes behind Superman Unveiled
I am no creative genius.
To be perfectly honest, I had no idea what I wanted to say when I started writing Superman Unveiled. Having churned it out in a personal record - two months and three days - when I first started to write I had a very different idea from how it actually turned out.
First off... what's with the cover? Does anybody recognize this personage? What's she doing as the main poster on a Superman book?
You will have to read it to find out. David Bosco is wrapping up audiobook production this week and has done a bang up job with this tale, just as he did with Lucas Black. Look for it to be out live on Audible within two to four weeks (and you can sample the work on this weblog).
All I can say is that I set out to write an interesting, modern story with a unique take on Superman (mission accomplished), but ultimately I said much more through this book. In this book I have turned superheroes on their heads, exposing them for the sham they are... why do we continually, ever more fervently worship them? Has your life ever been rescued by a superhero from Krypton?
Mine has been rescued by a hero, but I can assure you he was not from Krypton. I set out to write an entertaining tale (mission accomplished), but what came out was much more. I hope you find the time to read/listen to this innovative story and take something profound from it. And when you do, we'd love to hear from you...
Best always,
Luis
