LUIS F. HERRERA

Luis is the Founder, Writer and Chief Publisher of Cromwell, Black a privately held publishing company and production house, established on March 7th, 2015. He grew up in Southern California, surfing its best beaches. In 2009 at the age of 27, he moved back to his ancestral homeland of Costa Rica, met Guiselle and has been happily married since 2011. Their only son, Nevi Domenic was born in 2012.

In his own words:

I  am passionate about a few things.

​

I believe that the voice of women is under-represented in the realms of faith and spirituality, and that because of their imposed silence we are missing out on listening to the voice of God and the maternal, bridal and queenly aspects of God's Being. This has been devastating to religion, to families, to culture and all of history in general. But this can change, it must change. God is often referred to as He (out of pure tradition and imperfections in language, I myself am guilty of this), but the Holy Spirit is decidedly androgynous in nature, not to say Feminine. This is a clear but unstated truth, and it serves the purpose of many to keep it so.

 

In my writings I seek to express this truth in innovative ways, with stories that give us a perspective from behind the veil.

DAVID BOSCO

I am David Bosco, narrator for the audiobook version of Lucas Black: a novel. Proud to be associated with Luis Herrera on this unique project. With Lucas Black as just my fifth published,  I’m relatively new to audiobooks. Lived in Connecticut all my life. From a retail background, specifically automotive, until I recently determined the business was ‘through with me’ after forty years.  Along the way,  I played keyboards in several bands for fun and expression and during that time, I also had an interest in audio production, commercials and voice over in general. Music still plays an important part for me and I believe there’s a correlation between music and narration in the delivery. I now devote my time to Carol, my wife of 41+ years, my two daughters, three grandkids... AND audio production and narration.
